NEW COLLEAGUES

Giulio Fella, Full Professor, Academic discipline: SECS-P/01 ECONOMICS

Giulio Fella is a macroeconomist whose main areas of interest are quantitative macroeconomics and labour economics. He has worked on consumption and wealth inequality, the equilibrium analysis of large-scale policy intervention and the welfare and employment implications of employment protection measures. He has also carried out research on numerical methods, human capital investment and family economics. He has published in various international journals including: The Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Journal of Public Economics.  His research has been funded by grants from the Nuffield Foundation, Netspar and Norface. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics.

PRIZES AND AWARDS

  • Elettra Agliardi has been appointed as member of the Scientific Committee of the online conference “Future of Growth Conference” (May 20-21) and “3d Warsaw Money-Macro-Finance Conference" (June 3-4).
  • Emanuele Bajo has been appointed as Honorary Professor by the University of Queensland (Australia).

 PARTICIPATION IN EXTERNAL EVENTS

  • 15 May: Elettra Agliardi moderated the debate on the topic “Climate Crisis and the Global Green New Deal" as part of the 2021 edition of the Hikma Summit of International Relations.
  • 5 June: Paolo Figini with Massimo Garavaglia (Italian Minister of Tourism) and Eva Giovannini (RAI journalist) participated to the debate on the topic “Tourism after the pandemic” organized by the Trento Festival of Economics.
  • 17 June: Emanuele Campiglio participated as invited panelist to the 37th edition of the “Symposium on Money, Banking and Finance” organized by the Banque of France.
