Elena Gentili got her PhD at the University of Lugano (Switzerland) and is now an economist at the Bank of Italy, branch of Bologna. 

Guglielmo Barone is full professor of Economics at the University of Bologna. Previously, he was an economist at the Bank of Italy (2004-2019).
