Agreements and collaborations

The University and the Departments enter into agreements and conventions with public bodies and national and international private sectors to strengthen activities in the educational and scientific field, encourage recruiting and promote technology transfer.

 

 

Activities and contracts of Department within the University Framework Agreements

  • "PROMETEIA": framework agreement between the University of Bologna, PROMETEIA Associazione per le previsioni econometriche and PROMETEIA S.p.A. for collaborations aimed at educational activities. The Department of Economic fosters actions to improve the consistency between the educational path, the acquired skills and the opportunity of professional placement. The Department of Economics combines the educational offer with the ability to carry out macroeconomic analysis and economic and financial consultancy offered by PROMETEIA.
  • Bank of Italy": the agreement between the University of Bologna and the Bank of Italy for collaborations aimed at educational activities. (internship and traineeships) The Department of Economics fosters actions to improve the consistency between the educational path, the acquired skills, and professional placement. The Department combines the educational offer with the competencies provided by the Bank of Italy in the field of European Union regulations on the supervision of credit institutions and bank crisis management, with particular reference to the powers distribution among authorities and to the procedures for the adoption of legal acts.
  • “European Doctorate in Law and Economics (EDLE) Programme”: International Ph.D. program founded in 2006 focused on the economic analysis of law. The program is a joint initiative of the University of Bologna, the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the University of Hamburg and the University of Rennes. At the end of the program, the Ph.D. candidates obtain doctoral degrees from all the universities participating in the consortium. The Department of Economic allocates a four-year grant to the EDLE program as part of its Ph.D. program.  Therefore, the winning candidate will obtain a double doctoral degree. The Department also hosts for 6 months of the first year all doctoral students enrolled in the program and offers several courses to them.
  • "European Master in Health Economics and Management": is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) a joint title with four European partners (University of Bologna, Erasmus University Rotterdam, University of Oslo and the Management Center Innsbruck). The Department of Economics hosts the students enrolled in the program during the second semester of the track Healthcare finance and management and during the third semester of the track Health Economics and Policy and Global Health.
