Following an agreement with Microsoft, all enrolled University of Bologna students can use the Office 365 suite free of charge, which is accessible at the portal.office365.com with university account username and password (@studio.unibo.it).
Office 365 suite includes the possibility to use the online version of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); the possibility to download and install more recent versions of Office; access to Onedrive; Skype for Business.
When the student’s relationship with the university ceases, he or she can continue to use the email service.

Following an agreement with MathWorks, the University has activated the MATLAB Campus licence, thanks to which all academic staff, researchers, technical and administrative staff, and students can install the MATLAB and Simulink applications on their computers and follow online training courses free of charge.
To install the software on your computer, please refer to the portal for the University of Bologna. The software is available for different operating systems.

The University of Bologna has activated a Campus license of the software STATA SE.
The license grants the use of STATA SE to professors, researchers, administrative personnel, PhD students, and post-docs from the University of Bologna, and to all students enrolled in any degree courses which refer to it.
